There is a really cool article over at gameplayer australia I thought you'd all like about the long history behind Nintendo. Its a lengthy (in pages and clicking) story, but there are some really cool gems of info in there. |

Some of the mini halo flash games that Ben and I have coded over the years didn't make a smooth transition to the newly designed site a few months back. I'm happy to say that the glitches have been fixed and the games should all be functioning properly again. (Tested on Firefox 2.0.x and IE 7.0.x, so if there are any Opera or Safari users that wanna let me know how this are working, that'd be cool). Now go play ! |

The Madda Cheeb heard the news that Halo 3 had only sold roughly 8 million copies worldwide and was shocked at how low the number was. Was it Super Mario Galaxy? Was it Guitar Hero III? It didn't matter, the Cheeb knew what he had to do; a massive worldwide promotional campaign. And who better to schlep it around the world for Bungie and Microsoft other than the Madda Cheeb himself! Stopping at every major landmark and historical site he can find, the Cheeb will not rest until Halo has dominated the world. To follow his progress, click the link on the left for the Cheeb's World Tour and check out each country he's visited. He's already hit a bunch of places but he's still out there working it, so if you see him in your city, get a picture of him with a major landmark and we'll add it to his gallery.

Stemming from the XBL outages over the holidays, Microsoft is making Undertow available for free download between Wednesday and Sunday of this week. Slashdot has an excellent roundup of links if you're looking for more info on this story. My only question is if this is for Gold members only or Silver members as well. |

So yesterday was one of the biggest and best Halo 1 lans in the last few years, we had 15 guys ripping it up all day. We got A LOT of good games in, which surprised me because I thought all the games were going to take as long as the first one did. But we also had some quick ones as people settled into their grooves. Thanks to everyone who attended, especially those guys that had to drive up from K-Town. Post Game Carnage Analysis will follow. |
