 Think of all the games you would play if they were all free. Just look at all the little flash games we play online cause they are easy and free. Buying games at the store has always been expensive and the purchase price of games always weighs in when deciding if a game is worth it or not. Do you buy it or rent it or borrow from a friend? Whats a game worth? I read a great article where the President of Valve talks about overpriced games, how Steam works and how the recent price drop of L4D increased sales by 3000% and it really reiterates how in a recession or not, the price of games is really important in gamers decision making.
